Executive TeamPerry Price, President and CEO, Board of DirectorsPerry Price is an entrepreneur with a successful sales track record in high-growth technology and Fortune 500 companies. He has deep domain expertise in IP networking and communication applications, including telephony, unified communications, call center technologies and messaging. Prior to co-founding Revation Systems, Price was vice president at Aravox Technologies, a start-up voice over IP (VoIP) security company, where he had global responsibilities for sales and business development. Aravox's intellectual property was acquired by Alcatel in 2001. Prior to Aravox, Price was director of technology and sales development in Lucent's (later Avaya) services provider sales group, where he jointly developed Avaya's sales strategy. Price also held several sales positions and ultimately became director of regional sales for the AT&T's Internetworking Group. Mark Pietras, CTO, Board of DirectorsMark Pietras has more than 15 years experience in product development, architecture planning and engineering management for high growth technology and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to co-founding Revation Systems, Pietras was CTO at Aravox Technologies, a start-up voice over IP (VoIP) security company, where he had responsibility for product management, strategy, and roadmap. When Aravox's intellectual property was acquired by Alcatel in 2001, Pietras led the technology transfer between the two companies. Prior to Aravox, Pietras was the senior principal architect at CopperCom Corporation, a leader in telecommunications solutions for local exchanges, and senior product architect at NetSpeak Corporation, developer of advanced IP telephony solutions, and in video research and multimedia sub-system development for IBM. Patents: Pietras holds 19 issued U.S. patents in multimedia and communications. Ken Holec, ChairmanKen Holec currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Revation as well as the CEO of HotGigs Inc. Holec has extensive experience as a successful CEO in 4 different companies and numerous Board roles. Holec previously served as a partner and as an advisor at TripleTree. Prior to TripleTree Holec served as CEO of Peopleclick, CEO of ShowCase Corporation, and CEO of Lawson Software growing revenue in each successful position. Paul Knapp, Board of DirectorsPaul Knapp is President and CEO of Space Center Ventures, Inc. He is a Director of Bloomington, Minnesota-based Venture Bank and serves, or has served, on the boards of more than a dozen public and private companies. Paul served as the 2002 President of the Minnesota Venture Capital Association and the 2002-2003 Chairman of the St. Paul Midway Chamber of Commerce. He is an active member of The Guthrie Theater Board of Directors. Paul is a 1982 graduate of The College of St. Thomas and a 1985 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law.
